Haller Park Tour

Haller park Mombasa, is the largest animal sanctuary in Mombasa. formerly known as the Bamburi nature trail, is located 12 km just past the Mombasa public beach and next to Bamburi Cement factory north of Mombasa along the Mombasa road. The park is only a 25 min drive from Mombasa town center.

The park boasts an enormous variety of animals, reptiles, insects and botanical gardens. It was previously a barren piece of land that was left as a results of limestones open minding and was redeveloped through reforestation and conservation efforts, and thats why now is a habitat for a large number of Flora and Fauna species.

What's include

A variety of game animals birds, which are not so easily seen, inhabit the fenced area. Each has a function in Nature Trails ecosystem, and almost all of them utilize a different feeding niche. The mammals species seen are hippos, giraffes, buffalos, Zebras, Waterbucks, elands and Oryx.

Itinerary

AT 07:00 AM Pickup from Hotel for Mombasa

You will be picked at 7.00 am in the morning for Mombasa Island, coming from the north part of the Kenyan coast. This will take 2hrs on the way before we reach the Capital town of the Coastal region.

AT 09:00 AM Arriving at Haller Park

Due to the distance, we shall arrive at the park at around 09:00 AM. Upon the arrival you will be taken to the park offices for payments and provision of other tour essentials. A tour guide will given then the tour will start. This tour will involve feeding animals, collaborating with animals, other friendly activities. Since it a big place it will take us the first quater to finish almost half the park.

AT 12:30 PM Lunch Within The Park

The tour at the Haller Park, involves moving around and see different animals who were left by their parents at an early age of their up bringing. It depend on our travel plan, the lunch can be from us or within the park. It will take us 1h 30min for lunch and relaxation.

AT 14:00 PM Afternoon and Last Tour

Immediately after the lunch and relaxation. We shall return back to the park for the last and the final part of our tour. This is the most memorable one, as the park by this time of the day will be full of tourists both local and international. It will take us like 1h 30min to 2h to wind up our tour.

AT 16:00 PM Return to Hotel

The last part of the tour is very short. AT around 1600hrs we shall depart the park to the hotel arriving there very late due to distance, traffic jam and delays on the way.
